About Me

Welcome everyone! 

My name is Korey Hines. I am a dog mom to two amazing rescue dogs and a newly married woman, loving life with my very best friend. But what really puts you and me together right now is our mutual love for children. 

I am a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. I love kids, they are my passion and they drive me to be better. That is why I am also currently a Doctorate of Nursing Practice student at Palm Beach Atlantic University [the best place in the whole world], working hard to bring more hope and opportunity to sick kiddos, their families, and the other pediatric nurses that put their heart and soul into everything they do.

I am working to bring you, the reader, as much information as I can about the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit if you find yourself or a loved one trying to figure it all out. When you are alone and scared, I want to bring peace to your family so you can focus on what is most important: your baby. 

For those that are nurses in the PICU, I also want to be here for you; sharing our experiences and resources is so imperative to this field of work. Let's journey together and make each other stronger, for the kids.
